A forwarded message is a lead, not the contract

Start at the Public Procurement Information Portal or the procuring entity’s official website. Compare the tender reference, procuring entity, procurement category, closing date and the latest document version. Screenshots or social forwards can omit important details or circulate after a deadline.

Check changes before you commit time

Look for amendments, addenda and clarification notices from the original publisher. Log when you checked the source and whether the notice is still current. If you cannot independently verify the reference, put it on hold rather than presenting it as a confirmed open tender.

Check whether your business is eligible

Read reservation wording, including any AGPO category, and verify registration, licensing, technical, geographical and financial requirements against the original tender. An alert cannot establish eligibility.

Record your decision

Keep a short log: source URL, tender number, entity, closing time, reservation, documents needed, addenda checked and a go/no-go decision. Recheck immediately before submission. The original tender always overrides any explanatory blog post or social message.

Share accurate alerts

When forwarding a notice, include the official URL and the date you last checked it. Join the free BidReady Tender Radar for source-linked discoveries, then open the official documents yourself. Optional paid Preflight is separate.

Important: This guide does not determine eligibility, certify compliance or guarantee an award. Check the official procurement notice.

Current official-source reference

PPIP provides tender and procurement information, while PPRA maintains reference formats for goods, building works, non-consulting services, requests for proposals, information technology. Confirm reference number, procuring entity, deadline and addenda against the actual issuer notice. Read PPIP original notices and use PPRA standard tender documents only as background.

Official PPRA reference content checked separately. PPIP live content could not be independently verified during this source check. Always verify the current specific tender; no new procurement rule or guaranteed outcome is asserted.
