BidReady Tender Radar is a free discovery layer for Kenyan suppliers. We scan official procurement sources, surface opportunities worth opening, and keep the original source one click away.
The rule: use the alert to shortlist. Use the official tender documents to decide, prepare and submit.
What a tender alert includes
The expensive part of tendering is not only writing the bid. It is spending hours on opportunities that are already a poor fit, missing an addendum, or discovering a mandatory requirement too late. The Radar prioritises the details that change that decision.
Is there enough time to obtain documents, security, approvals and signatures?
Is the opportunity unrestricted, AGPO-reserved or otherwise limited?
Has the procuring entity changed the requirements or date since publication?
Can you trace the alert back to the current procurement notice?
Where the alerts come from
PPIP publishes active tenders and exposes fields including tender number, description, procuring entity, procurement method, category, close date and whether an addendum has been added. BidReady uses official procurement data as the starting point rather than recycled social posts.
PPIP active tenders, search and verify the current record before acting on any alert.
What an alert cannot tell you
An alert cannot confirm that your business is eligible, that your documentation is complete, or that the tender has not changed after the alert was created. Those answers live in the current tender document and addenda.
