Kenya's e-GP system is the government's electronic procurement environment. Suppliers who want to participate in electronically enabled public procurement need to register on the official e-GP portal.
Start with clean registration data
The official supplier-registration guide says the system verifies supplier information against other government systems. It lists business registration details, KRA PIN and National ID information among the basic data required, and warns that mismatched records can lead to unsuccessful registration.
Check the names and identifiers held by BRS and KRA before you begin.
The official guide says system communications are channelled through it.
The registering person should be an owner/director or properly authorised to transact for the business.
Where BidReady fits
BidReady does not register suppliers on e-GP and does not submit tenders on your behalf through the government system. We help before that point: discovering opportunities, flagging changes, turning the tender into a practical readiness checklist, and reviewing the material you provide.
Before you press submit
Electronic submission does not make the underlying requirements less strict. Read the current tender document, check addenda, confirm the submission method and make sure the final files match the instructions shown in the procurement process.
